Covid-19 Information

2022-2023 District Procedures for COVID-19

If your child tests positive for COVID-19:

  • Contact your child’s building principal and they will advise you on when your child can return to school based on current guidance.

  • Please see attached What To Do If You Have COVID-19 for current guidance.

If your child has been exposed to COVID-19:

There is no longer a quarantining requirement. A child who was exposed to COVID-19 and has no symptoms may attend school and we recommend that they wear a mask for 10 days from exposure. If at any time during that 10-day period your child begins to experience symptoms, they should be tested for COVID-19 and follow the steps indicated above if positive.

If your child is demonstrating symptoms of COVID-19:

Students should stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of any communicable disease, including any of the following:

  • headache
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • fever or chills
  • new uncontrolled cough
  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • fatigue
  • muscle or body aches
  • new loss of taste or smell
  • nausea, vomiting
  • diarrhea
