Welcome John F. Kennedy Principal Mr. Almad Allen

The 2022-23 school year will mark Mr. Almad Allen’s 10th year in education. Since graduating from Cleveland State University, he has served communities in resource-rich Blue Ribbon schools at a school of excellence called Francis Bradley Middle School in Huntersville, North Carolina as an 8th Grade Language Arts teacher. Mr. Allen became a high school English teacher for three years at JFK High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He served as a high school administrator for two years at Cleveland Municipal School District, where he was selected as a participant in the Cleveland Institute for Premier Leadership, CSU, and CMSD Partnership for two years.

Mr. Allen was an assistant principal at Shaw High School. In 2021, he was the Staff Selected Recipient of the East Cleveland City Schools 4E Award: Empathy, Equity, Excellence, and Emergence. The elementary principalship at John F. Kennedy allows him to work collaboratively with teachers daily while also remaining connected to young students learning and growing in the classroom. Mr. Allen firmly believes that every child can excel and that the partnership between home and school builds confidence in students to use their powers to shape their future and the future of our community and our nation.

The Mustang community is excited to welcome Mr. Allen to the elementary campus!
