Welcome from the Principal

At JFK Elementary School, students are important, they matter, and they are loved. At JFK, students are given high expectations of excellence, are expected to succeed, and are being shaped to function independently in the world that they live in. Here at JFK, we foster a shared partnership with parents and community members to promote a positive and cultivating learning environment for all students. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success. We welcome all parents and community members for volunteer opportunities and to partake in school-wide activities.

JFK’s 3 goals for this school year are to increase the attendance rate for all students through positive reinforcements and frequent parent communication; create and sustain a positive learning environment where all students and their uniqueness are embraced, and to increase the percentage of students in grades 2 and 3, that are proficient in the area of Reading. In addition to these goals, JFK will continue to strive to meet the district’s mission of “Educating our students through expectations of excellence, to prepare them for a lifetime of success.”

Warm Regards,

Dr. Thomas
