Dean of Students

My name is Amelia Johnson and I am the Dean of Students at John F. Kennedy Elementary School. I have the honor of working with a great staff that sets high expectations that foster success. JFK promotes a positive and safe environment that encourages children to succeed, parents to participate, and community members to get involved. 

John F. Kennedy Elementary Goals for this 22-23 School Year are: 

1. Increase the reading achievement levels of all students.
2. Increase the attendance rate for all students. 
3. Create, sustain, & grow a positive learning environment and school culture through P.B.I.S. (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports).

Reaching these goals allows JFK to meet the District’s Mission of “Educating our students through expectations of excellence, to prepare them for a lifetime of success.”
