Free Tutoring Program

There is a program that is sponsored through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities called Learning Aid Ohio. (Link is below.) It is open to students with an IEP or 504. They offer grants of $1,000 to pay for tutoring. Their website has a list of eligible tutors and we do have a local provider who works through this system. She is a retired teacher who lives in Maple Heights and provides ELA and math tutoring.

Parents need to apply for the grant by Oct. 31. There are income requirements and I have requested more information about these. Award notifications go out Nov. 2.
