Welcome to the personnel department of the Maple Height City Schools. Our goal is to support our schools by selecting qualified, passionate people who are dedicated to serving the students and communities of Maple Heights.  Our staff works together to operate in a dynamic, positive environment. The Office of the Director of Personnel oversees labor and employee related matters for our district staff, including substitutes.  The Maple Heights City School District has over 400 employees and approximately 3,500 students.  The Maple Heights City School district consists of three elementary grade-level buildings, one middle school and one high school as follows:

  • Abraham Lincoln Elementary (Pre-K through grade 1)

  • John F. Kennedy Elementary (Grades 2-3)

  • Barack Obama Elementary (Grades 4-5);

  • Milkovich Middle School (Grades 6-8); and

  • Maple Heights High School (Grades 9-12)

Throughout the year, as job opportunities occur, they will be posted on this website. The Maple Heights City School District has an on-line application process which will allow you to apply for positions through our website. In addition to the application, you will also be able to upload any supporting documentation, including a cover letter, resume, and references. Your application remains active and on file for one calendar year.

Substitute Teacher Information

Maple Heights City Schools participates in substitute services provided through the North Coast Shared Services Alliance. The NCSSA serves as our substitute teacher management provider, responsible for recruitment and employment of certified substitutes for our district. If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher for Maple Heights City Schools, please submit an application with the NCSSA.
