Free Tutoring Program
There is a program that is sponsored through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities called Learning Aid Ohio. (Link is below.) It is open to students with an IEP or 504. They offer grants of $1,000 to pay for tutoring. Their website has a list of eligible tutors. Parents need to apply for the grant by Oct. 31. There are income requirements. Award notifications go out Nov. 2.

Communication Disability Database
There is a newer law that allows people who have a communication disability to register with an agency so that law enforcement is aware of their communication disability in the event that they are pulled over.  This registration is voluntary.  Please see the attached FLIER for further information.
