The Maple Heights City School District would like to welcome Mrs. Jennille Love, the new Director of Special Pupil Services. With an impressive career in education, Mrs. Love comes to Maple Heights with an extensive background in student services, specifically in Special Education.
Mrs. Love served as an Intervention Specialist for City Day Community School and Dayton Public Schools for two years each. She then returned to her hometown of Trotwood, Ohio, to work as an Intervention Specialist for four years before accepting a position as Coordinator of Student Services, where she served for two years. In that role, she oversaw various aspects of Student Services such as PBIS, health services, and supporting students with 504 Plans. To grow as a leader, Mrs. Love accepted a Director of Student Services position for Sidney City Schools in Sidney, Ohio.
Mrs. Love's educational journey is a testament to her commitment to learning and growth. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Business Administration in Technology from Walden University. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue and complete a Master of Education from Antioch University Midwest, further enhancing her expertise in education.
Mrs. Love is driven by the belief that "…to whom much is given, much is required." With that in mind, she is dedicated to using her experience, knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure that every student's social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs are met so that they can equitably achieve academic success.
