February 22, 2024, Lincoln Elementary Black History Program Celebrated the Impact of Movement on the Culture! The evening had 3 stations:
1. PAG Data, Dinner, & Video performances
2. Rap session with Nova
3. Interactive Doors
Families were provided the school’s data cards and goals; showing the progression we are making towards reaching the goals. Each class picked a topic, made a door display, and created a performance that was played during our ‘Soul Food’ dinner! The Rap session with Nova, students and parents created raps about Fredrick Douglass based on facts! The dinner was catered by Zanzibar restaurant at Shaker Square; fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, corn muffins, & soul rolls!!! The doors had a lot of information and fun activities to do! Everyone had a blast celebrating Black History! Here is the video and some photos:
