Maple Heights City Schools is proud to announce that its CTE (Career Technical Education) program has recently completed a heartwarming project for the district's kindergarten students. The CTE students generously built dramatic play stands for each kindergarten classroom at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School.
These custom-made stands are designed to spark the creativity and imagination of our scholars. The stands can be adapted to match the current curriculum with interchangeable themes, enhancing the learning experience.
Dr. Price expressed her gratitude for the CTE students' dedication and skill, stating, "This makes my heart happy. The Ciriculuum Department purchased all the materials, and the CTE construction students built the stands. They built one for each of the kindergarten classes.”
The kindergarten teachers are equally enthusiastic about the new addition to their classrooms. They plan to use the stands to tie in various CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) topics, creating a more immersive and engaging learning environment.
