Last Friday, a group of 16 students attended the Cleveland Clinic's Medical Careers Day at South Pointe Hospital. Students rotated through different stations that were run by hospital residents, including scrubbing in, intubation, placing a splint on a broken arm, and exploring a model abdominal cavity. They also competed in a race to see who could use the laparoscopy training arms the fastest to move pegs from one side of a board to the other. Dai'moni Morgan had the best time with 46 seconds! After the stations, students were treated to lunch and a Q&A session with professionals in a variety of health-related careers. It was a great experiential learning experience!
