Good Afternoon Maple Heights High School Families,
We just wanted to send out a courtesy email reminding everyone of our school's dress code policy. It is located in our Student Code of Conduct on page 18, which states "DRESS CODE - These specific rules were developed to assist students and/or parent(s), guardian(s) or custodial parent(s) in their primary responsibility of setting standards which are appropriate for school. Students who violate the dress code will be asked to change or a parent/guardian will be called to bring appropriate clothes to the school. Students who are unable to comply with the aforementioned statement may be retained at school in “in-school detention.”
Please pay particular attention to subsection 1 which discusses Immodest or Indecent dress for both males and females. Parents, please have a discussion with scholars about appropriate school attire per the Student Code of Conduct.
