Student Wellness & PBIS

In Maple Heights City Schools, student wellness is a priority. Using the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) framework with a trauma informed and restorative lens, we are focused on establishing a foundation for regular, proactive support of positive behavior in schools, and providing students and families with even more opportunities for empowerment, collaboration, trust, and choice.

To address the needs of the whole child, additional supports are also provided in the areas of mental and physical health. Through the work of our school counselors, student support coordinators, school nurses, and partnership with Applewood Centers, Maple Heights City Schools is committed to the wellness and success of all students.
